Christmas is over, entirely over. The only thing remaining is to take down the tree and burn it. That always seems so tragic, doesn't it? Soon I must download pictures onto our home computer and transfer some to Dad's laptop so I can post them on here for my own amusement.
The Christmas letter and card went over well. Too well, I think I may say--people seem to begin to actually think I am clever. That is very akward for me to accept with a straight face. But let it be known that I do my best to look very modest and unassuming, while obviously being very wise and credible. That is a difficult task, but I have had many fine examples before me since the age of twelve, so by this time I think I ought to be fairly adept.
The Christmas picture took a long time to put together, simply because of photo shoots and cropping them all down square, and hunting online for 6 x 6" envelopes, and printing like forty-five of the photos on our printer (which has to have the paper fed in individually) and cutting the 5.85" pictures out of 8 1/2 x 11" paper. But it was good.
